T-Pain Pulls Out Of RNB Fridays Live 2018 Australian Tour

The enormous upcoming RNB Fridays Live event schedule for this month has hit a snag, with an official announcement delivering news that RNB impresario T-Pain will no longer be making the trip down. Organisers have also announced the new plan to ensure fans still get as much RNB bang for their RNB bucks.

Citing an illness within the family, T-Pain released a statement, beginning, “I want to deeply apologize to my fans for not being able to make it to Australia.

“I have a close family member in the hospital whose condition just got severely worse and it is important for me to be home with him in this super difficult time. I hope you understand and I promise to make it up to y’all soon. I was really looking forward to giving you a great show at RNB Fridays Live. I love you my fans and thanks for the continued support and prayers for my family.”

There will be no further additions to the line up. Instead, to fill the gap on the bill, co-headliners Usher and Lil Jon have agreed to extend their headline performance at each show.

RNB Fridays blew minds earlier in the year with the line up announcement, dripping in creamy ’90s nostalgia goodness. The franchise has developed a reputation for bringing RNB titans to the land down under with previous events featuring Kelly Roland and Ne-Yo.
