PREMIERE: Grace Turner Delivers Stunning Vintage Visuals For ‘Easy I Fall’

Newcastle artist Grace Turner has today unveiled the striking visual accompaniment to her latest single, ‘Easy I Fall.’

Filmed within Newcastle theatre The Royal Exchange, the artistic and visually nostalgic video was recorded on Super 8 film and captured in four hours with the assistance of co-directer James Rhodes.

The styling too is befitting of the track’s delicate yet bold sensibility, with Turner decked out in stunning handmade pieces crafted by local designers Millie Shorter and Ellie Hannon.

“This clip was created quickly and spontaneously,” says Turner. “The constraints of using Super 8 film forces meaningful decisions as they can’t be taken back and we were only working with 8 minutes of tape. The lyrics are direct and unfiltered, I wanted the imagery to enhance this vulnerability.”

After a set at Mountain Sounds Festival in February, Grace Turner will head to the USA for a stint at South By Southwest.
