All The Snaps (And The Signs) From Sydney’s ‘Don’t Kill Live Music’ Rally

Tensions in New South Wales’ live music scene have peaked in the midst of new music festival regulations introduced by the NSW premier Gladys Berejiklian, as thousands of live music supporters attended yesterday’s Don’t Kill Live Music Rally in Sydney.

Thousands of music industry professionals, musicians, and enjoyers of live music rallied in Sydney’s Hyde Park last night, protesting the new regulations and the cancellations of festivals.

The Don’t Kill Live Music Rally saw guest speakers like The Wiggles’ Murray Cook, The Presets’ Julian Hamilton, Yumi Stynes and City of Sydney Councillor Jess Scully to name a few.

Local acts Ocean Alley, Polish Club, Urthboy, The Rubens, Cloud Control, and Olympia also made appearances.

Rally organisers encouraged attendees to sign their Don’t Kill Live Music petition which will be formally submitted to the NSW government and at time of writing now has over 118, 000 signatures.
