Faith No More Are Playing An Australian Bushfire Benefit Show, Just Not In Australia

As we hold our breath to find out whether tomorrow will bring forth the Faith No More Australian tour announcement we’ve been waiting for, it’s come to light that Mike Patton & co are already playing an Australian bushfire fundraiser gig, only not here in Australia.

The benefit show, taking place on in the UK June 9th at Manchester’s O2 Apollo, forms part of the alternative metal lords’ reunion tour — marking one of their first shows together in four years — and will see ALL proceeds donated to the Australian fire relief funds established by Wires and the CFS Foundation #legends

“Reading the news about what’s been happening in Australia has been heartbreaking,” FNM posted on Facebook, announcing the gig.

“It’s hard to even comprehend the scale of damage; hopefully this small contribution on our part can make a difference somewhere.”

Anyone who might find themselves in Manchester on June 9th can find out more info via the official Facebook event right here..

And for anyone else feeling a bit disappointed that the Australian bushfire fundraiser isn’t happening in Australia itself, fear not; we’ve still got an imminent announcement coming tomorrow to look forward to.

ICYMI: big dog Aussie tour promoters Frontier Touring recently updated their social media pages with an image of FNM’s iconic eight-pointed star logo and a date, February 5th 2020, leading us to believe a FNM Australian tour announcement is imminent!
