The Avalanches Drop Two New Singles With Denzel Curry & Sampa The Great

The Avalanches have kicked things into another gear in the lead up to their third studio album We Will Always Love You, with the release of two new singles today.

The first of which, titled ‘Music Makes Me High’, just features the duo in all their production magic. But for second cut ‘Take Care In Your Dreaming’, the band enlist a smorgasbord of collaborators in Denzel Curry, Sampa The Great and Tricky.

They’ve also offered further details around the album, including its all important release date – Friday, 11th December.

“For us, to make the same record again, no matter how well executed, wouldn’t have been satisfying,” said Robbie Chater of the creation of We Will Always Love You.

“We were looking to do something that would open up possibilities for the future. Take a bit of a left turn that frees us up to do whatever we want to next.”

The release of ‘Music Makes Me High’ and ‘Take Care In Your Dreaming’ follows a string of singles the duo have dropped recently, including ‘Running Red Lights’ with Rivers Cuomo and Pink Siifu, ‘Wherever You Go’ with Jamie xx, Neneh Cherry and CLYPSO as well as the title track with Blood Orange.

We Will Always Love You is out Friday, 11th December.
