“End Of An Era” For Steel Panther As Bassist Lexxi Foxx Calls It Quits

After more than two decades of fucking all night and partying all day, Steel Panther‘s bombshell bassist Lexxi Foxx has decided to hang up the mirror.

The spandex-wrapped hair metal hellions announced the shocker news on their website this week, dubbing it “the end of an era”.

“Lexxi has chosen to hang up his mirror and focus on his newfound passion. Making ugly dogs pretty,” the band revealed in a statement.

“Anyway, after nearly 40 years of rocking together and taking Steel Panther from the Viper Room to headlining Wembley Arena, it is with heavy hearts – but great heavy metal memories – that we bid Lexxi Foxx farewell. We love you and we wish you a wonderful future putting eyeliner on chihuahuas.”

They continued: “Steel Panther will continue to rock the world. And though we may not ever find a bassist quite as beautiful as Lexxi, it shouldn’t be hard to find one to match his towering intellect.”

The band have also shared a sentimental video montage in tribute to their outgoing four-string tingler, which you can watch below.

In the meantime, there’s no word on just who Aussie Fanthers can expect to see doing hair-flips in front of the wind fan in Lexxi’s place when the band head to our shores in October for their Heavy Metal Rules tour with Sevendust, but we’ll keep you updated with any new info!
