Land Of Plenty Reschedule Festival To 2022, Announce Additional Acts

The folks behind Shepparton festival Land of Plenty have announced that the festival will be rescheduled to 2022 due to lockdown restrictions in Victoria, as well as adding a whole bunch of favourites to the lineup.

The show must go on! Organisers of the festival have made the call to move the festival from its current date of Saturday, 30th October 2021 to Saturday, 9th April 2021 due to the unfolding COVID-19 crisis in the state. The festival will remain at the Shepparton Showgrounds, with a couple of changes to the lineup.

Ball Park MusicG FlipBirdzTeenage Joans, Vince The Kid and Matilda Pearl are still locked in for the new date. However due to the shift, Thundamentals and Thornhill are no longer able to perform, but the festival have locked in Drapht and Bodyjar instead.

The festival is also excited to announce an incredibly event-specific special performance, titled Baiyiya Garra, presented by Still Here. Handpicked by Yorta Yorta musician DRMNGNOW, this curation centres specifically around ‘woka’ (country) and Indigenous platform. The event will feature a bunch of emerging Yorta Yorta, and other First Nations special guests and artists.

Land of Plenty have also announced their Pick of the Crop competition, giving a local artist/band from the Greater Shepparton region the chance to perform on the main stage at the festival. To check out the application process for the comp, head to this page here.

There’s still plenty to be announced, including the DJ lineup. Tickets are on sale now. All current tickets will remain valid for the new date, but if you can’t make the new date, contact your ticket provider to claim a refund.
