Cardi B has leaped to Offset’s defense after rumors that the rapper is “unsupportive” amidst an impending divorce and pregnancy with her third child.
Bodak Yellow rapper Belcalis Almánzar responded to a People magazine report, saying she had filed for divorce because the marriage to the Atlanta-born rapper had been “more distraction than support.”

When celebrity blogs began to pick up on the accusations of that unknown source, Cardi hopped onto one of the site’s Instagram posts to clear up that info.
“OK this is getting weird cause I can say he helps me a lot with my business and the kids,” Cardi wrote on Saturday, August 3. She continued, “Never in my career, no matter what I went through, I had friends or family go to the media, sooo I don’t know who is this damn source going to People magazine.”
The Bronx-bred artist elaborated further, “Even with my filing, I’m not asking for child support. I’m asking for him to just pay for the bills he already pays on the kids and the new one.”
Porn stars and parents-to-be: Offset and Cardi B are expecting their third child together. They already have a daughter, Kulture, six, and a son, Wave, two.
Cardi B announced that she was pregnant on August 1, a day after she filed for divorce from the Migos member. This would be the second time Cardi has filed for divorce, with her first filing in September 2020 and backpedaling two months later.
Cardi B goes on to explain the case of Offset in her family and business, stating that he has been very supportive despite all the turmoil in the marriage. She responds directly to rumors, showing that she wants to straighten things and clear Offset from some bad accusations.
