August Burns Red Announce 2026 Australian Tour

Alright metalcore faithful, time to circle the calendar – August Burns Red are heading back to Australia this September and October for their first headline run in seven years, and they’re bringing a stacked lineup with them.

Dubbed the Season Of Surrender Tour, the run will see the GRAMMY-nominated heavyweights tear through Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle and Brisbane – marking the first place in the world they’ll be touring behind their upcoming tenth album, Season Of Surrender (out June 5).

August Burns Red – ‘Behemoth’

“We are so excited to headline Australia for the first time in 7 years,” the band said. “This will also be the first place in the world where we celebrate the release of our brand new record… we hope to see you all soon!”

And look, if you’ve seen ABR live, you already know the drill. Two decades deep, hundreds of millions of streams, and a reputation for shows that feel less like gigs and more like full-body cardio sessions. Their last Aussie visit in 2023 supporting Polaris was widely described as a straight-up masterclass – so expectations? High.

Joining them are rising Aussie heavy hitters Bloom, who’ve been quietly building a serious following off the back of their emotionally charged melodic hardcore, plus Texas newcomers I Promised The World, making their Australian debut with a cathartic, genre-blurring sound born from deeply personal roots.

Suss the details down below.
