A ‘Full House’ Revival Is Coming To Netflix

Your favourite Olsen twin-starring 90s sitcom, Full House, is making a comeback, with a 13-episode revival set to premiere on Netflix in 2016.

Uncle Jesse, aka John Stamos, made the announcement while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, saying that after years of trying to get the spinoff series off the ground, the deal had been sealed just minutes prior.

Reports Variety, Netflix later confirmed the news, adding that the series will be titled “Fuller House” (get it?) and will star original cast members Candace Cameron-Bure (D.J. Tanner), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner) and Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler).

Stamos explained that the series will kick off with an hour-long special, possibly a reunion, before moving on to the spinoff series with a storyline centred around D.J. Tanner, a recently widowed veterinarian who has two sons and a baby on the way. Sound familiar guys?

Stamos will produce the show and will reprise his role as Uncle Jesse with a guest appearance. Discussions with original “Full House” stars Bob Saget, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin are reportedly “ongoing”.

That being said, when Kimmel asked Stamos if Bob Saget would appear on the show, he replied, “He better.”

Have mercy!
