Channing Tatum Is Bringing ‘Magic Mike Live’ To Australia In 2020

Dear hornbags of Australia, Magic Mike Live is coming down under, which probably means you will be too.

#sorrynotsorry

Channing Tatum himself announced the news today, appearing in Melbourne flanked by a legion of half-nude dudes to drop the sweaty bombshell that his Magic Mike stage show, based on the iconic shirt-shunning male stripper movie of the same name, will be thrusting its way round Australia next year.

As Pedestrian reports, Melbourne will be the first notch on the Magic Mike Live bedpost (opening up on May 26th and running til August 16th at Birrarung Marr) followed by Sydney (November 19th til December 20th at the Entertainment Quarter) before eventually giving Brisbane and Perth some love.

The shows will go down at a pair of specially-constructed venues, both dubbed ‘The Arcadia’, which will be purpose-built to house the “360-degree live dance and acrobatic spectacular based on the hit movies”.

Tickets for the shows are already on sale and you can grab them over at Ticketmaster.

Otherwise catch social media footage of Tatum’s big reveal below while we go take a cold shower.
