A film titled Gimme the Loot (perhaps in homage to the Notorious B.I.G), which centres on two young graffiti artists vying for notoriety in New York City, has taken out this year’s South by Southwest Grand Jury Prize for narrative feature.
The movie’s official Twitter account excitedly stated “WE WON!!!” at the news.
The Bronx-set drama focuses on street artists Malcolm and Sofia as they plot revenge against a rival tag gang that has defaced their latest work.
