If you’re a fan of amateur erotica podcasts, you’re in luck. Jamie Morton, Alice Levine and James Cooper of My Dad Wrote a Porno have announced a world tour, debuting a new show in Australia in January next year before taking it across the world.
If you’re unfamiliar, the general structure of a My Dad Wrote a Porno episode sees Morton, along with mates Levine and Cooper, reading a new chapter of an amateur erotic novel series called Belinda Blinked – written by Morton’s father, who goes by the pen name of Rocky Flintstone. It’s a lot of fun, and exactly as uncomfortable as you’d hope.
Starting at the Sydney Opera House on Wednesday, 8th January, Morton and co will be reading never-before heard material from the pages of Rocky Flintstone, delving even deeper into the Belinda Blinked story. The gang were last in Australia back in 2017, and are set to launch season 5 of the groundbreaking podcast – which recently won a Webby award for Best Comedy podcast – this September.
Check out tour dates below. Tickets go on sale this Thursday, 18th July at 1pm, but if you’re a Live Nation member there’s an exclusive pre-sale from midday this Wednesday, 17th July.
