The absolute fever dream of a comedy, The Mighty Boosh might be making a return this decade, according to Noel Fielding.
Fielding, who plays Vince in the show, posted a picture of him and co-star, Julian Barratt (Howard Moon) on Instagram. The post was captioned, “There really wasn’t enough Boosh this decade ! let’s try and rectify that in the next one 😉 x.”
The Mighty Boosh ran from 2004 to 2009, giving us three seasons of outlandish laughs and obscure, but highly quotable lines.
The last time The Mighty Boosh pair teamed up was last year, when they became the 2019 UK Record Store Day ambassadors. It was their first reunion in five years.
After The Mighty Boosh, Fielding wrote and starred in two series of Noel Fielding’s Luxury Comedy. It ran between 2012 and 2014 and actually outdid Boosh on the weird factor.
Since then, he’s co-hosted The Great British Bake Off and Julian Barratt has starred in TV shows like, Flowers and Killing Eve.
Fielding has also continued his art, which appears in both The Mighty Boosh and Noel Fielding’s Luxury Comedy.
