Studios 301 Announce Six New Production Studios

In July Studios 301 announced that they had successfully coaxed Nick DiDia, one of the most prolific producers in modern music, to move from his native US to Australia to toil away in 301’s Byron Bay facility. Now it would seem Studio 301 has its sights set on becoming the biggest studio not only in Australia but the world, with the announcement of six more production facilities.

According to The Music Network, as of next month Studios 301’s Alexandria complex will have 6 new spaces open for recording. Each self-contained studio consists of a 3.6sqm recording booth and 22sqm control room, while every control room has been expertly engineered for a natural and flat acoustic sound, with the deadened recording booths allowing for uncoloured recording of instruments and vocals.

The new facilities will cost you $2200 per month, plus GST, with three of the spaces already being booked out before Studios 301’s official October launch. 301 has attracted some of the biggest names in music, including Kanye West, Lana Del Rey and U2 and the company’s aggressive expansion should see some local acts teaming up with some of the world’s most talented producers.
