The once almighty MySpace is set to return with a brand new site, designed from scratch in the hopes of competing in the flooded social media market that is led by the likes of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr and Google + (OK maybe not that last one).
However, rather then simply try to beat them, MySpace looks set to effectively interact with Facebook and Twitter. According to AllFacebook (the unofficial Facebook blog) the new MySpace will integrate the other two popular social media networks to make the shifting and sharing of information as simple as possible.
Meanwhile, Gizmodo notes the many ascetic improvements that appear in the trailer, with the new MySpace appearing to be a horizontal scrolling collection of posts and pictures free from the clunky presentation of the orignal MySpace that so readily crashed, much like the company itself.
Gizmodo also points out that the advertisement features plenty of Justin Timberlake, who is currently a co-owner of the returning social media platform. You can watch the trailer below and if you like what you see, head over to new.myspace.com and register for an invite once the site is launched.
Let Music Feeds know what you think. With so many social media sites already taking up so much time and energy, would you sign back up to the once failed MySpace?
