Sheldon5D is the project of Perth-based artist, producer and engineer, Sheldon Nunes. Sheldon5D’s new single, ‘Ride With Me’, is premiering on Music Feeds ahead of its official release this Wednesday, 23rd March.
Nunes has plans for a big 2022. In January, he released the single ‘Get Back’ with Philadelphian artist FR33SOL. ‘Ride With Me’ is Sheldon5D’s first solo single of the year and a track with strong personal resonance for Nunes.
”I wrote ‘Ride With Me’ late at night trying to capture all the feelings I have been going through in the last few years of my life,” Nunes said in a statement. “Through the ups and downs it’s hard to find a constant, but at the end of the day all we want is that somebody to spend our time with and give us that unconditional love.”
Nunes, who’s an audio engineer and producer as well as a performer, is responsible for the trap drums and dreamy, atmospheric melodies that underpin ‘Ride With Me’.
“The beat sets the mood straight away,” he said. “Music allows me to express myself in a way that I can’t describe in words. It allows me to be my true self and reveals all the sides of me that I wouldn’t be able to express without it.”
