3 Doors Down Bassist Released On $100,000 Bond

3 Doors Down bassist Todd Harrell has been released from jail following his arrest for vehicular homicide by intoxication, among other charges. As reported by the Sun Herald, the US$100,000 bond was posted releasing Harrell from a Tennessee jail.

Harrell will appear in court regarding the incident that left Nashville man Paul Howard Shoulders Jr. dead on the 29th May. The Associated Press reports that Harrell admitted to ingesting perception drugs Xanax and Lortab as well as alcohol.

While incarcerated Harrell was found in procession of 24 oxycodone pills, eight Xanax pills, and four oxymorphone pills. In addition to vehicular homicide by intoxication, the bassist faces charges of bringing a controlled substance into the jail, 3 counts of possession or casual exchange of a controlled substance, and 1 count of an implied consent violation.

One day before Harrell appears in a Tennessee court, he will appear in court at D’Iberville, Tennessee on 28th May concerning a separate DUI charge dating back to 19th July, 2012.
