360’s New Video For PETA Is “F*cked Up”

Aussie rapper 360 is back in the press, this time showing off his ink as the new poster boy for animal rights group PETA’s latest anti-fur campaign, promoting the slogan “Ink Not Mink”. In a behind the scenes video 360 says he thinks people should understand exactly how those fur coats are made before they throw them on.

“I don’t know the ins and out of everything but since being educated you realise how fucked up and really messed up it all is,” explains the ARIA nominated rapper. “People would be outraged if we were treating humans like that, so why is it OK for animals to be treated that way?”

Not for the faint of heart, the video incorporates some rather graphic clips of animals being skinned as 360 takes us through the brutal process. “It’s just really barbaric and fucked up, it’s not cool,” he says. “Just wear fake shit.” It’s an apt collaboration, pairing the outspoken rapper with the animal rights organisation known for its confronting and at times aggressive campaigns.

Other tattooed big names who have posed for PETA’s Ink Not Mink campaign include Jane’s Addiction member Dave Navarro, Georgia rapper Waka Flocka Flame and Linkin Park‘s Chester Bennington.

360 will release his highly anticipated new album Utopia next week on Friday, 13th June. The rapper also announced a national tour in support of the new record, details of which you can find here.
