A Bunch Of Your Fave Musos Are Linking Up For A COVID-19 Benefit Special

Lady Gaga has today announced that she will be curating a massive global benefit to support those on the frontline of the coronavirus crisis in collaboration with the World Health Organisation and Global Citizen.

The ‘One World: Together At Home’ benefit will raise money directly for the United Nations Foundation’s COVID-19 Respond Fund, while also showing support and celebrating the health workers around the world that are tackling the pandemic head on.

The event, which will be broadcast on social media, features an absolutely mammoth lineup of some of music’s biggest stars. The lineup includes Paul McCartney, Alanis Morissette, Billie Eilish, Lizzo, Kacey Musgraves, John Legend, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Eddie Vedder, Chris Martin and plenty more.

The event will be broadcast on Global Citizen Australia’s (@glblctznAU) Twitter, Facebook and Instagram at 10am AEST on Sunday, 19th April.

Gaga also said that, over the past 7 days, she raised $35 million USD with the help of corporate leaders and philanthropists.

In other news, Lady Gaga also recently announced her new studio album Chromatica. It was set for release this month but it has since been pushed back.
