Adele Plans Grammy Awards Live Comeback

Adele has made plans to make her live comeback at the upcoming Grammy Awards on the 12th of February. The singer has said she was “immensely proud” to finally be playing a live performance again after a lengthy recovery to fix her vocal chords last year.

She released a statement confirming rumours that she would be performing at the ceremony, which is taking place at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. She will make an appearance shortly before a performance at the O2 Arena on the 21st of February for this year’s Brit Awards.

She went under the knife late last year to have vocal chord microsurgery in order to stop bleeding from a benign polyp. She had cancelled all of her remaining live dates for 2011, and this lead to rumours she might have something more serious. Thankfully it wasn’t.

Adele took to Twitter to confirm the news, saying: “Ima be, Ima be singing at the Grammys. It’s been so long I started to forget I was a singer! I can’t wait, speak soon xx”
