UPDATE: Adrenaline Mob Bassist David Z Has Died Following Horrific Tour Bus Crash

UPDATE 17/06/17: The surviving members of Adrenaline Mob are reportedly “banged up but okay”.

UPDATE: In devastating news, renowned heavy metal identity Eddie Trunk has now confirmed that Adrenaline Mob bassist David “Z”  Zablidowsky has passed away following this horrible accident.

The trusted heavy music pundit — who previously broke the news of Motörhead legend Lemmy Kilmister’s death to the world — has posted a series of tweets expressing his heartbreak and condolences, saying he’s “crushed” at the tragic news.

ORIGINAL STORY: In tragic news out of the US, heavy metal greats Adrenaline Mob have been involved in a horrifying fatal bus crash in Florida.

According to Gainesville.com, one person has died, three have been critically injured and three others hospitalised with non-critical injuries after a tractor-trailer veered off the Interstate highway and ploughed into the supergroup’s RV, which was pulled over to the side of the road with a flat tire.

The identity of the deceased has not yet been released but he’s believed to have been a male who was inside the tour bus when the accident occurred.

At the moment there is speculation from many including heavy metal icon Eddie Trunk and the band’s founding drummer Mike Portnoy that bassist David Zablidowsky may have been the one who lost his life, but once again nothing has been confirmed at this stage.

Members of the band are reportedly among the injured although no names have been released.

Adrenaline Mob currently consists of David Z on bass, Russell Allen (also of Symphony X) on vocals, Mike Orlando on guitar and Jorndan Cannata on drums. The band were on their way to a gig in in St. Petersburg when the accident took place.
