Aesop Rock Announces 2017 Australian Tour

Underground rap hero Aesop Rock has announced that he’s heading back to Australia this September.

The rapper hasn’t toured the country since 2011, and in that time he’s released two records — The Impossible Kid and Skelethon.

He’ll be performing in Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne this time around, plus he’ll be heading to New Zealand to play there for the first time ever.

Aesop Rock is one of the longest standing MCs, with his career spanning two decades. It was way back in 1997 that he released his debut Music For Earthworms, and since then he’s dropped seven LPs.

Providing support on his new Aussie tour will be Rob Sonic, who was in Hail Mary Mallon with Rock, and DJ Zone.
