Alex Cameron Returns With New Single And Video, ‘Sara Jo’

Alex Cameron returns today with a stellar new single, ‘Sara Jo’, as well as an official video clip to accompany it.

Following on from 2019 album Miami Memory, ‘Sara Jo’ introduces a new dimension to Cameron’s songwriting, with the track focusing on a character who feels disillusioned with their life. With lyrics like “Who pulled the curtains? Who broke the screen? Who told my brother that his kids are gonna die from this vaccine?” the song feels more apt than ever.

The sound itself stays true to Cameron’s music’s character, however the track introduces us to a new arc that we’re excited to hear more of.

“I was the victim of dumb charm. And the perpetrator is to blame,” he said in the official press release. “If I could only remember who that idiot was. And so we have ‘Sara Jo’ – a search for the person responsible for all bad ideas. Cause it sure as hell isn’t me.”

The clip to accompany the track was self-directed by Cameron, and filmed on location in Croatia. Watch that below.
