Allday Announces 2024 Australian Tour

Australian rapper and singer-songwriter Allday is gearing up for his national album tour in support of his fifth upcoming studio album, “The Necklace,” which is set to be released on 2nd August.

Allday is dropping his latest album single, “Miss You Still,” featuring Tim Nelson from Cub Sport today at 5 pm AEST. This track, the third teaser from “The Necklace,” draws inspiration from Ben Lee’s classic hit “Cigarettes Will Kill You.”

Allday promises “The Necklace” to be a vibrant showcase of his storytelling prowess and passion for music.

Expressing his admiration for the original song, Allday shares.”I’d always loved that song… I’ve always loved the piano. I think people will just like the piano, even if they haven’t heard the original song. [Ben Lee] was cool with it. I’ve known everyone from Cub Sport since 2012 or 2013, so that is a cool friendship.”

Ben Lee himself is thrilled with the sample, expressing his honor in being a part of Allday’s creative journey. “Allday is that type of artist and I’m honoured he sampled “Ciggys” and made it his own,” he says.

As Cub Sport’s Ben Lee is also featured on the new single, Lee said, “Proud to be associated with this current wave of cutting-edge Aussie artists who are in the process of taking over the world!”

Tickets for the tour will be available to the public starting Monday, May 20th at 9am AEST.
