In a world exclusive, British electro duo AlunaGeorge will play the first ever Minecraft concert tomorrow.
Set to kick off at 7am Eastern Daylight Savings Time, the concert will actually physically take place at the Hamar Olympic Hall in Norway as part of The Gathering; an annual tech festival. LA-based band Lemiatre and Norwegian producers Broiler are also set to make appearances.
Whilst the show is taking place, a team of volunteers will manipulate avatars modeled in the image of AlunaGeorge and other performers, and will mimic their on-stage movements inside the popular block-based computer game.
Users have been posting posters and advertising in the game in the lead up to the gig,

There will, oddly enough, be a capacity limit for in-game concert goers due to server space. It is anticipated that there will be two or three thousand people accommodated on the server.
