Swedish, Canadian, and American extreme metal giants ARCH ENEMY have just dropped a surprise single and video for a song called “Dream Stealer,” marking their first release since August 2022’s “Deceivers” album.
Guitarist Michael Amott adds, “It’s been quite some time since we last released new material, so it’s great to be back at it again! Recording ‘Dream Stealer’ in the studio was a real blast. This song has high energy and a twisted atmosphere, so it was a truly fun song to play. Crank it up loud and heavy—metal is immortal!”

“Dream Stealer” was mixed by Jens Bogren and mastered by Tony Lindgren at Fascination Street Studios. The video was directed and produced by Patric Ullaeus.
In October, ARCH ENEMY is going to kick off the “Rising From The North” co-headline tour together with Swedish melodic death metal pioneers IN FLAMES and special guests SOILWORK. After that, they will tour Mexico on a headline tour.
ARCH ENEMY played their first show of 2024 on April 24 at Musinsa Garage in Seoul, South Korea, as part of their Asian tour, which marked the live debut of their new guitarist, Joey Concepcion. As previously reported, back in December ARCH ENEMY announced that they were amicably parting ways with longtime guitarist Jeff Loomis. Jeff was the primary songwriter for NEVERMORE before joining ARCH ENEMY in late 2014. Although he joined the ranks, he didn’t play a part in writing their prev.
