Are Muse Releasing New Music For The ‘World War Z’ Soundtrack?

It was a 7 second clip posted by Muse on their Facebook page, but it has caused a frenzy that spread like wildfire throughout the interwebs, infecting anyone who came in contact with it. The band has used the brief clip to tease what could possibly be their involvement in the forthcoming zombie epic, World War Z’s, soundtrack.

Nothing has been confirmed yet, but the end of the world is the sort of thing you’d want Muse to compose the soundtrack to. Swelling synths, a textured ambience, the flawless vocals of Matt Bellamy. It all fits in so nicely. The clip doesn’t play any specific song but gives ‘MUZE’ the chance to express that ‘There will be no warning’, a tag-line shared with World War Z.

Lending credibility to the rumours would be the recently announced competition giving fans the opportunity to go to the film’s London premiere with Muse, which would be a pretty sweet deal. Hopefully Bellamy doesn’t talk the whole way through though.

The Brad Pitt led film will arrive Down Under Friday, 21st June.
