ARIA is joining forces with YouTube to launch In Conversation, an intriguing new live chat music series.
In Conversation puts Aussie music fans, international artists and local music legends in the same room to share stories and discuss important issues relating to music and the industry at large.
Each event will transform one iconic Australian venue into a comfy “living room” style setting to set the stage for these very special intimate, one-off chats.
First cab off the rank will be Sydney’s Factory Theatre, where UK pop megastars The Wombats will sit down with homegrown hero Jack River on Tuesday 14th June, to chat about everything from their experiences starting out in music to their longstanding friendship #nawww
Wombats’ singer and guitarist, Murph, said: “Holly [Rankin AKA Jack River] featured on one of the tracks from my Love Fame Tragedy record in 2020, and absolutely nailed it! It was so great working with her, so we are thrilled that she will be hosting the In Conversation event for such a great cause, with proceeds going to Support Act.”
While Jack River added: “Murph is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met, and one of the most talented songwriters in the world. I can’t wait to hear some stories from the road from him and the band and chat about the hell that was lockdown!”
Tickets are on sale now right here and all proceeds will go to Support Act.
