Art Vs Science Release “First-Ever Collaborative Track Open To The Public”

Aussie electro-house trio Art Vs Science have shared a brand-new song, titled I Was A Child Once, performed and recorded in collaboration with everyday Australians. The song is part of a three-way venture between the band, pedestrian.tv and clothing label Ben Sherman’s ‘Open Studio’ initiative.

Billed as the “first ever collaborative track open to the public”, I Was A Child Once let the band create a four minute song with the help of the public and co-writer/producer/mixer Jean-Paul Fung. The feel-good video is full of spacey synths, cartoonish animations and members of the general population tucked up in record booths strumming guitars and singing along without a care in the world.

“We could not think of a better way to begin the celebrations of our 50th anniversary than with this innovative concept,” said Ben Sherman’s Marketing Manager Tim Smith. “Music has always been at the heart of the Ben Sherman brand and we are thrilled to be able to present this world first collaboration with Art vs Science.”

Art Vs Science’s debut studio album The Experiment was released back in February of 2011. The recently released their latest single, Create/Destroy.
