Hold on to your So Fresh CDs, because early noughties R&B faves Ashanti, Ja Rule and Eve have just announced a joint Australian tour for 2017.
Dubbed Urban Sounds, the tour will take in stops around Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth this January, while Ja Rule and Ashanti will also be headlining an additional joint date at Melbourne’s New Years Eve extravaganza Promiseland.
According to MTV Australia (which is presenting the tour), legendary producer Clinton Sparks and “a host of homegrown talents” still TBA will also be joining the mighty trio on their down under trek.
It comes after Ja Rule and Ashanti kicked up a bit of controversy during their last joint Aussie tour back in 2015, after fronting up for their sold-out Geelong show almost four hours after doors opened.
Let’s hope they’re ~always on time~ this time around.
