Atoms For Peace’s ‘Amok’ Out January 28

The debut record from the latest music supergroup – Atoms for Peace – will hit the shelves on January 28.

DIY reports that Thom Yorke (Radiohead), Nigel Godrich, Joey Waronker and Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers) will unleash their side project via XL Recordings on CD, vinyl and digital download, so you’ll be able to access the release in whichever of those avenues tickles your fancy.

Earlier this year the band announced the lead single from the album – Default – which is now available on iTunes. Last week, they revealed the B-side to the track – titled What The Eyeballs Did. You can listen to the track in the clip at the bottom of the page.

Yorke told BBC Radio 1 about the formation of the group and its studio sessions in a recent interview, saying they were originally going to tour behind his solo album Eraser, “but it sparked something off.”

“So we ended up at the end of that getting into the studio and generating some new beats,” he said.

Tracklisting for Amok is as follows:

Before Your Very Eyes…
Default
Ingenue
Dropped
Unless
Stuck Together Pieces
Judge, Jury and Executioner
