The Australian debut of the Eskimo Dance grime tour has been cancelled, just days out from when the tour was scheduled to begin.
The tour was originally set to hit Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane in October with the likes of Big Shaq, Wiley, Lethal Bizzle and Devlin, however organisers cancelled the Brisbane date in September after Big Shaq pulled out of the tour.
Today, organisers have said the remaining dates won’t take place either, “due to circumstances beyond its control”.
“It’s with genuine sadness that we’ve had to cancel our plans,” a spokesperson said.
“We wanted to bring the biggest ever grime tour outside of the UK to Australia and New Zealand, but unfortunately it has proved impossible to do so at this time.
“We’d like to thank all the fans that bought tickets and we’ll be working hard to bring the UK’s original grime rave to Australia and New Zealand in the near future.”
Ticket-holders will be refunded, and can contact their point of purchase for further information.
