If your idea of a perfect summer party includes a picturesque island setting, the Australian sun and a host of good music, then you might want to hoist the sails and head out into the ocean blue because the lineup for December’s appropriately named Castaway music festival has just been announced, and let’s just say here’s an island well worth getting marooned on.
Castaway will take place this December on Western Australia’s Rottnest Island, following a successful inaugural event in February earlier this year, which attracted over 4,000 punters.
Taking the island stage for the second Castaway showdown will be Sydney lads Sticky Fingers, whose popularity has been definitely proven by the fact that they’ve now twice sold out shows without even announcing them.
Bringing the slinky, electro R’n’B feels will be Future Classic star George Maple, while Netherlands bass producer Ganz will act as the international guest. Rounding out the bill are East Coast outfit Bootleg Rascal.
It’s all going down on Saturday, December 6th, from 12pm until 7pm, on Thompsons Bay, Rottnest Island. The festival is 18+ only.
