CONTENT WARNING: The following article discusses alleged rape and sexual assault.

Azealia Banks has claimed she was drugged and raped over the weekend in an emotional series of Instagram posts.

Video of the rapper’s Instagram story (which is no longer live, and which Music Feeds has chosen not to publish), included the caption, “Lowkey just got raped. I feel like dirt.”

In the story, the 26-year-old rapper told fans in a series of audio messages that she was “hanging out” with someone, who ended up taking advantage of her.

“I just feel so dirty and stupid right now, you know? We were just hanging out and one thing led to another,” she said.

“I just feel really dumb, because it was partially my fault… I’m just sitting here feeling fucking low and shot… I just want to fucking disappear right now.

“I don’t think I can put out anymore music right now… I gotta just take some time and figure out what just happened.

“I’m gonna delete all my accounts, because I’m just embarrassed, I’m gonna delete everything… And I’m just rebuilding myself as an artist.

“You don’t really realise it like this rape sh-t,” she continued.

“Men can just prey on you and fucking like badger you, force you to say yes… to the point where you feel like you gave consent but you didn’t give shit, you know? You never wanted to do shit, and then there you are, feeling fucking like powerless. Someone really just got the fucking best of me.”

Banks later returned to Instagram to say, “What is even in a roofie?

“I’ve never felt that type of intoxication in my life. I woke up my throat was in pins and needles. It’s under control now my brothers and friends are here. I’m going to be fine don’t panic guys. I love you. I def got drugged in my drink but I’m waking up again.”

She later posted saying, “I’m good… It takes alot to take this elephant down.”

Earlier today, Banks again took to her Instagram story to say, “This whole trend of men doing crazy shit to women, what the fuck is wrong with men?

“I don’t know what I’m gonna do… am I gonna get a pepper spray?

“Men have all kinds of ulterior motives. Men are really a threat to women, it’s crazy.”

Banks didn’t name her alleged attacker in her Instagram story, and it’s unclear if she has filed a police report.
