Bad Religion Australian Tour 2012 – Soundwave Sidewaves

Bad Religion have announced Australian tour dates for early year on the back of their appearance on the Soundwave 2012 line up. They’ll be doing two shows, one at the Palace in Melbourne and one at Luna Bigtop Luna Park in Sydney.

Now on their 15th studio album The Dissent Of Man and 30 years on, Bad Religion’s fiery songs are more relevant and necessary than ever.

Joining them will be Strung Out, who have firmly cemented themselves as punk rock legends, with an influential career spanning more than 20 years spawning countless imitators but none have been able to emulate their scorching blend of aggressive riffs and captivating melodies.

Inspired by the ferocity of their audiences and a desire to make rabble-rousing, in-your-face punk records. Street Dogs is anthemic, heartfelt and positive, the answer to the dehumanization of modern life in the classic tradition of punk.

Brett Gurewitz has also invited Philadelphia punk rockers The Menzingers to play with his band, proclaiming: “These guys play the kind of pure punk rock that I grew up with”. They’ll have a brand new album due out early 2012.
