Bad news, Bastille fans: the boys from Britain have had to reschedule their upcoming Australian tour dates, just a few days out from when the tour was supposed to kick off.
Good news, Bastille fans: the boys from Britain have locked in dates for the rescheduled shows, and they’ll be happening in 2019.
In a statement, the band said they had to postpone their tour last minute “due to unforeseen circumstances.”
“It’s with deep regret due to unforeseen circumstances we’re unable to play the shows planned in Australia in coming days,” the statement reads. “We hugely apologise for any inconvenience caused to our Australian fans. The rescheduled shows in Australia are in January, we hope those of you with tickets can make these new dates next year. Huge apologies for a change in plans, we plan to make it up to you in the near future.“
Both Sydney and the sold-out Melbourne show have been rescheduled from early September 2018 to mid January 2019. All already-purchased tickets are still valid for the respective show, and if you can no longer attend the rescheduled shows, you can secure a refund through Frontier Touring.
Support act Nicole Millar is also signed on to perform these rescheduled shows.
