Biffy Clyro Reveal Plans For New Australian Tour

UPDATE: Biffy Clyro Announce 2018 Australian Tour

ORIGINAL STORY: Scottish rockers Biffy Clyro have revealed details of when they plan to tour Australia with their latest album Ellipsis, and it seems like local fans won’t have to wait too long to see them live.

Fielding fan questions during a Reddit Ask Me Anything (AMA) session at the weekend, the band were asked when they’d next be heading down under, to which they replied, “Hopefully towards the end of the year, or early next.”

Biffy Clyro previously toured Australia with Soundwave Festival back in 2014, when they also played a pair of festival sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne. If they do end up returning to Australia soon, it could well be for a summer festival or even a more extensive headline tour.

Elsewhere in their Reddit AMA, Biffy Clyro also revealed that they’re hoping to release B-sides from Ellipsis “before the end of the year”. Read the whole AMA right here.

Ellipsis is Biffy Clyro’s seventh studio album, following on from 2013’s Opposites. Watch the new music video for album cut ‘Friends And Enemies’, below.
