Yep, it’s all kicking off very soon so we thought we’d get all the information you might need on the day together in the one place. Don’t say we never do anything for you!

Below you’ll find a map of the venue (which won’t change from day to day) and timetables for both Friday and Saturday. As always, there’s gonna be some epic clashes so it’s best to start deciding now whether you want to see Fear Factory or Groove Armada, and you’re gonna have to choose between Girl Talk and the Hilltop Hoods eventually…

Transport Information (From The Organisers)
The BIG DAY OUT is set to thrill audiences in SYDNEY on Friday 22nd and Saturday 23RD JANUARY 2010, with a stellar line up of international and local artists. To follow is an outline of important transport information for those travelling to and from the event via public transport. We encourage ticket holders to lighten the load on the environment and leave the car at home and take public transport.

The closest CityRail station to this year’s Big Day Out is Olympic Park Station. Extra trains are operating to help you get to and from this year’s Big Day Out at Sydney Olympic Park.

Getting there
Direct services are operating from Central, Redfern and Strathfield stations to Olympic Park Station, departing approximately every ten minutes between 10am and 2.30pm.

Olympic Park services depart Lidcombe Station to Olympic Park Station every 10 minutes between 9.30am and 1am the next morning.

Customers travelling from the North Shore, Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra and Airport & East Hills lines after 2pm will need to travel to Lidcombe to catch an Olympic Park service.

Additionally, special Big Day Out trains are operating direct to Olympic Park from the following stations:

FRIDAY
• Newcastle Station at 7.14am
• Wyong Station at 9.13am
* Selected Blue Mountains services will make an additional stop at Lidcombe.

SATURDAY
• Newcastle Station at 9.12am and 10.12am
• Wyong Station at 9.21am and 10.29am
* Selected Blue Mountains services will make an additional stop at Lidcombe.

Getting home
To avoid long queues after the event, buy a return ticket to Olympic Park Station on your way to Big Day Out.

Plenty of services are running after the event to help you get home with direct services departing Olympic Park Station to Lidcombe, Strathfield, Redfern and Central stations from 8pm.

No direct intercity services are departing Olympic Park Station. Passengers will need to change at Lidcombe, Strathfield or Central stations for connecting services. For full timetable information visit http://www.cityrail.info/
