Big Day Out organisers will announce a second round of acts for the 2012 lineup on Music Feeds at 8am on Wednesday November 9th. The first announcement included Kasabian, Kayne West and Sound Garden but only featured 17 other bands, The second announcement is going to be larger.
So far ticket sales have been slow for the 2012 20th anniversary Big Day Out and organisers will be hoping that the second announcement will kick things along. Soundwave Festival have already announced over 70 bands for their 2012 lineup and the Melbourne show has already sold out which may make Big Day Out re think their tactics for 2013.
In another blow to the festival this week, Vivian Lees has pulled out of his partnership with Ken West to run the festival citing that he needs more time to spend with his family. There has been speculation that other reasons were involved in the break up consideriding
