It’s official: Billie Eilish season is back, and the superstar has announced details around her highly anticipated second album Happier Than Ever.
The announcement comes just a day after she teased some new music on Instagram with the caption “Happier Than Ever”, and after billboards subsequently teasing the album popped up around the globe.
But now, Eilish has confirmed all the sweet details. Happier Than Ever, much like her debut When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, features no outside songwriters or producers apart from herself and her brother, Finneas.
“This is my favorite thing i’ve ever created and i am so excited and nervous and EAGER for you to hear it,” Eilish wrote on Instagram. “I can’t even tell you.”
“I’ve never felt so much love for a project than i do for this one. hope you feel what i feel.”
In addition, she also confirmed that she’s got a new single coming, hitting Australia at 2am AEST on Friday, 30th April. This song will be the third we’ve heard from Happier Than Ever thus far, following ‘my future’ and ‘Therefore I Am’.
Happier Than Ever is out Friday, 30th July.
