Billie Eilish has shared the fifth offering from her forthcoming album. ‘NDA’ is her latest single. It’s a brooding, bass-heavy single but the lyrics deal with the pressures of her newfound success.
Eilish tackles the difficulties of stardom and dating in lyrics like, “I bought a secret house when I was seventeen. Haven’t had a party since I got the keys.”
“Had a pretty boy over, but he couldn’t stay. On his way out, I made him sign an NDA.”
Alongside the single, Billie Eilish has shared a self-directed music video.
The video, which was filmed in a single take, sees Eilish dance in the middle of the road as cars skim past her.
‘NDA’ is the fifth single we’ve received in anticipation of the new Billie Eilish album. It follows singles, ‘Therefore I am’, ‘Your Power’, ‘My Future’, and ‘Lost Cause’.
The album, Happier Than Ever will be the follow up to Billie’s debut album WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?.
“This is my favorite thing i’ve ever created and i am so excited and nervous and EAGER for you to hear it,” Eilish wrote, announcing the album. “I can’t even tell you.”
“I’ve never felt so much love for a project than i do for this one. hope you feel what i feel.”
