American country legend Billy Ray Cyrus is separating from his wife Firerose. Her wife’s real name is Johanna Rose Hodges and the artist is going to divorce her after seven months of their marriage because “she isn’t the person he thought he married.”
Billy revealed on Monday, June 17 in an amendment to his May divorce filing, which made the whole issue go into the public eye again. The filing was in response to the previous domestic abuse accusation made by her wife Firerose.

An insider told People magazine the reason behind their divorce. The insider said. “He believes that she married for other reasons but love,” the insider said. “He believes she married him so he can take care of her financially. They’ve had drama and trust issues about money.”
Insider added. “He wants her out of his life. They have a prenup. He’s disappointed right now, but surely will turn it around quickly. He tends to be a very positive guy.” the source added.
However, there has been no response from either Billy Ray Cyrus’s representatives or Firerose’s lawyers. This news was evoked after Cyrus filed an emergency motion in a Tennessee court in order to put a restraining order to prevent Firerose from making any “unauthorized” payment by using his personal and business payment cards.
Billy mentioned that Firerose might have used his cards earlier too and she might make “fraudulent, unauthorized charges” because she had access to all the information related to his personal and professional life.
Billy also accused his partner of making $96,986 in unauthorized charges on his bank account while $70,665 of it being for her attorneys.
