With the dust still yet to settle following the release of their massive new single Brace, the namesake for their upcoming album, Birds Of Tokyo have announced they will be bringing the album to the people during a headline tour kicking off this November.
Even the most accustomed Birds Of Tokyo fans are best advised to Brace themselves for the shows, given the band’s newfound comfort within a much heavier sonic universe than we’ve seen from them in some time.
Filled with titanic rock anthems-in-weighting, Brace is reminiscent of the band’s original sound — heavier and much more progressive. The new found penchant for chug will also result in an equally as heavy visual show, and the band are promising to play “[Brace] in full with redesigned older works”.
“The whole reason we’ve written this record is to play it live,” the band say. “We have a lighting and visual show like nothing we’ve done before, so come see what we are talking about!”
Brace will drop Friday, 4th November, so fans will have plenty of times to get their head around it before the tour. Catch all the tour dates, below.
