Nearly three years after releasing her solo debut song, K-pop star LISA seems ready to share her new music. She hinted at new music by sharing a story on her Instagram on Thursday, 6th June, which says. “Coming soon: LISA.”
The story also featured links to pre-save a project with no name, on Spotify and Apple Music. The same teaser she posted on the Instagram story can also be seen on her official website, and her LLOUD management page.
LISA – ‘LALISA’
LISA dropped her first solo back in September of 2021, when she released two singles titled ‘Money’ and ‘Lalisa’, via Interscope Records and YG Entertainment. Both the tracks broke all the records and topped most of the charts.
Her track ‘Money’ became the first solo K-pop hit to cross a billion streams on Spotify in the year 2023. The accompanying music video released along with the track became Lisa’s first music video to surpass a billion views on YouTube.
The lead rapper of Blackpink, Lisa has also given certain hints about her starting a new era by uploading a video on TikTok. In the video, she is posing in a very cute outfit.
LISA said the following in a statement “I’m super excited to be joining the RCA family, and I am confident they are the best team to create a bigger movement in my solo career, looking forward to showing the world everything we have been preparing.”
