Blake Lively has expressed her shock and relief following the foiling of a terrorist attack targeting Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. Austrian authorities announced last week that two teenagers had been arrested for plotting to attack Swift’s concerts in Vienna.
As a precaution, tour organizers cancelled three planned gigs, and a third suspect was later arrested in connection with the plot.
Blake Lively Said About Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Incident During Her Promotion Of A New Film “Oh, my gosh. I mean, how terrifying”
During a promotional tour for her new film, ‘It Ends With Us’, Lively, a close friend of Taylor Swift, addressed the situation in an interview with Access Hollywood. She stated, “Oh, my gosh. I mean, how terrifying. But thank goodness that they are completely on top of that.”
Despite the threat, Swift’s record-breaking Eras World Tour will resume with five shows at London’s Wembley Stadium on August 15, 16, 17, 19, and 20. The news of the foiled terrorist plot, which involved teenagers allegedly pledging allegiance to ISIS, shocked music fans.
In response to the cancelled shows, Taylor Swift and Disney+ announced that the filmed version of the concert, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version), would be aired for free in Austria, allowing fans to experience the concert from home.
This decision aims to provide fans with an opportunity to enjoy the billion-dollar concert despite the disruptions caused by the plot.
