The second round of acts for Byron Bay’s Bluesfest 2012 have been revealed. Joining first announcement acts such as Roger Daltrey, Earth Wind & Fire, The Pogues and Australia’s own John Butler Trio will be Crosby Stills & Nash, The Specials, John Hiatt & The Combo, Lucinda Williams plus 9 more artists.
Bluesfest is one of Australia’s most awarded and internationally renowned festivals, and began a new era (and with any luck another excellent 22 years) with the purchase and move to its permanent new home from the 2010 event onwards – the Tyagarah Tea Tree farm just off the Pacific Highway, 10 minutes north of Byron Bay.
Next year’s event will take place on Wednesday 4th April until Monday 9th April.
