Your fave boy is back, sans bear. Boy & Bear drummer Tim Hart has returned with a brand new solo tune dubbed ‘I’d Do Well’ off his freshly-announced new album The Narrow Corner.
“I’m really stoked to be releasing my new single I’d do well,” the multi-talented muso says of the melancholy chiller. “For me this song was written in one of my more introspective moments on tour. Missing home and thinking back to living life a bit more simply.”
But there won’t be much of that for him next year when his new LP drops on Friday, 2nd February, because he’ll be hitting the road on a massive headline tour the very next day.
Hart will be melting hearts across the nation’s east coast, with shows booked in Canberra, Como, Sydney, Newcastle, Belgrave, Melbourne, Nambour, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
His new LP was helmed by his last LP Milling the Wind‘s producer Mark Myers (The Middle East, Emma Louise, Timberwolf), as well as Sydney producer Wayne Connolly (Cloud Control, You Am I, The Vines), who FYI was also responsible for Boy & Bear’s #1 ARIA charted album Harlequin Dream.
Hart played the majority of the instruments on the LP himself, with his songwriting exploring themes of loss and disconnection.
