Brad Williams has announced his return to Australia, touring his self-titled new stand-up hour across the country in November 2024. The tour will mark Williams’ first shows locally in nearly six years, having last performed in Australia in December 2018 with shows at Sydney’s Factory Theatre and The Comics Lounge in Melbourne. In addition to returning to Australia, Williams will also perform in New Zealand for the very first time while in Australasia. Following the conclusion of the Australian tour, Williams will perform in the country for one night only, heading to Auckland’s Skycity Theatre on Monday, November 25th.
Williams released his latest stand-up special, Starfish, last month on YouTube for free. Filmed at the Sony Hall in New York City, press materials for the special note that it is his first recorded since becoming a father – his daughter was born in 2020. It is Williams’ fourth filmed stand-up special overall, following on from 2016’s Daddy Issues.

Since Williams was last in Australia, he has appeared on the Netflix series The Degenerates and been a guest voice on Robot Chicken. He has also toured extensively through North America, performing both as a club comic and as part of the 2022 Cirque du Soleil show Mad Apple in New York City and Los Vegas. Williams’ inclusion marked the first time stand-up comedy has ever been part of a Cirque du Soleil show.
