K-pop heartthrob BTS’ V has made a return with a new solo song FRI(END)S. This pop song is his first solo after his debut Layover which the artist released back in September.
The song is written entirely in the language English and is a sweetly written love song that talks about one’s confession of love to a friend, as stated by the group’s agency BigHit Music.
V – ‘FRI(END)S ‘
In a recent statement, V of BTS revealed the inspiration behind his new solo track, “FRI(END)S.” He expressed that he crafted the song to share it with their devoted fanbase, known as ARMY, believing its charm would resonate with them.
BigHits Music also said that BTS’ V had already prepared for the release of this song before starting with the journey of his mandatory military service.
The song is a very close piece to the singer. The music video shows V playing a double role, one being single and the other being a couple. He plays the role of a protagonist in two different situations. Right from the teaser to the whole video,
The song depicts how two friends fall in love and one attempts to confess it to the other. It strikes the perfect balance between friendship and love. This song, with its distinct sound and stunning videography, would undoubtedly be a favourite among Army (BTS’ fandom).
